I am amazed how she captured our day-the flowers, the food and decorations, the dancing and the send-off. My favorite pictures are her candids that capture all of the emotions of the day. I also have to say Lyndsey is so incredibly kind, personable and professional. She will make you feel comfortable during the photo sessions. Hey there, sweet friends! It&rsquo;s been a minute since I&rsquo;ve done an introduction post, so here we go. I&rsquo;m Lyndsey, the face and heart behind Lyndsey Sayles Photography.
&nbsp;
Ever since I can remember, photography has been an integral part of my life, thanks to my dad&rsquo;s love for the art. From those early days with a camera in hand, capturing life&rsquo;s fleeting moments became my calling. Fast forward to today, and I&rsquo;ve been fortunate to turn my passion into a full-time photography&nbsp;career.
Oh, and speaking of incredible journeys, I&rsquo;ve been married to my amazing husband for almost 10 wonderful years (we celebrate in October, so basically 10 years at this point)! Together, we share a love for travel, discovering delicious foods, and pampering our fur baby, Norah Grace. Our journey together has been filled with laughter, adventure, and countless cherished memories.

Planning your fall engagement pictures is an exciting journey that allows you to capture the essence of this enchanting season. Here are a few tips to help you make the most of your autumn-themed photoshoot.

Work with Your Photographer:
Engaging with your photographer before the session can help you both envision the shots you want. Share your ideas, inspirations, and preferences. Your photographer&rsquo;s expertise will guide you in capturing the magic of fall and your relationship.

Choose Complementary Outfits:
Your outfit choices should harmonize with the autumn palette. Earthy tones like deep reds, burnt oranges, and warm browns work wonderfully against the fall backdrop. Cozy layers, like scarves and jackets, add dimension and style while keeping you comfortable during the cooler weather

Also remember the sun sets earlier in the fall, so this means in the Midwest, fall sessions can start as early as 3:30 pm depending on how late into fall we schedule your session.&nbsp;

Adding touches of fall can infuse charm into your photos. Think about bringing along props like plaid blankets, pumpkins, or baskets of apples for a playful touch. These elements can add depth and a touch of personality to your images.

Bonus Tip: 
Don&rsquo;t forget to clean your engagement ring &amp; paint your nails (or at least try not to have chipped nail polish). Your hands &amp; ring will be in most of your pictures, so you want to show off your sparkle!

"My photography journey started in college I took a photography class and I fell in love with the idea of getting to capture people’s joy and laughter, because how could you not? I have taught photography and graphic design in high school and eventually, I bought my own camera to put into practice what I was teaching! It is my mission to bring you ease and guidance on your special day; to help you feel relaxed, bring a couple of laughs and to capture the very special moments that you won't want to forget!"

I'm a bubbly & positive kind of vibe girl. I love iced coffee, pink, and anything with sparkles. I've been a wife for the last 10 years to my husband Phil. We live in St. Louis, MO and have a beautiful German Shepard, Norah Grace.

Photography has been a passion of mine long before it was my profession. My dad is a photographer and has encouraged me throughout the years. I still get so excited to send him images that I know he will love too. 
On your wedding day, you'll most likely see me tear up and smile a lot. I love connecting with both families that are joining together on the wedding day. This is the start of a new chapter for the couple, and to be the one to protect those memories, I do not take that job lightly. 
Finally, I value relationships and friendships with all of my couples. We spend a lot of time together during the process from when you sign a contract to wedding day, and I enjoy getting to know my couples on a deeper level.
